In the south of Mexico City, there is a reserved place that hides a series of channels that keep very special landscapes. These channels are traveled by the locals in the emblematic trajineras, which with their colors, give a unique effect to all those moments that take place here. The Xochimilco workshop is a long exposure workshop.
In this new Garciaferro workshop, you will have the opportunity to meet and capture stunning shots of sunset and sunrise, on these old canals. While in the evening our companion will be the moon, at dawn we will be accompanied by the Iztaccíhuatl volcano giving your photographs a unique touch.
Our meeting point will be at the hotel where we will have a class on how to use neutral density filters to take photos with long exposures. In the afternoon we will embark to leave on the trajinera towards the sunset views and night photographs.

It must be an interchangeable lens camera. Preferably a recent fully manual operation, regardless of whether it is low or intermediate range.
Within the workshop we cover both telephone and wide angle ends. It is recommended to get large angles (14 to 20 mm) for the entire night landscape.
Because it is high season, services must be anticipated well in advance. In case of cancellation by the participant, the payment will not be refundable. It can be transferable with an administrative charge of 20%, all this up to 15 days before the event.
If the event were canceled due to causes beyond our control, such as adverse weather issues or insecurity events at the location, the workshop date will be re-scheduled to a convenient date for both parties.
